Ardeatina

Via Ardeatina

Via Ardeatina  The Ardeatina is one of the consular roads connecting Rome with the rest of the world. Despite its antique origins it is still in use. I walked down a stretch of the road taking images, without a common horizontal level due to varying road widths and bewaring of modern traffic. The final work combines four images of the adjacent wall - and a common level.

Via Ardeatina

Via Giulio Cesare Falco, Capua  This is a stretch of Via Appia, close to the original ending at what now is called Santa Maria Capua Vetere, before the road was extended to Brindisi.
